"Winged Muse" (possibly from video footage by Jeffrey Delman, West Los Angeles, 1998) shows Sharine playing flute, wearing her favorite "Lucky Leopard" hat. A micro-image of herself is superimposed as the body of a butterfly. That original photograph was taken by Elde Stewart for Sharine's 2003 "Midnight Butterfly" photo-illustrated calendar. So much Photoshop....

On the day of the shoot, Sharine and Elde hiked until dusk through peaks and valleys, crags and caverns, toting two suitcases of clothing, makeup and shoes, plus another 60 lbs. of cameras, lenses and equipment.

"Cosmic Guitar" by Elde Stewart for "Midnight Butterfly," hues added later. Shot was taken during Aurora Borealis on Jupiter. Not really, but that is Sharine's Telecaster and she's definitely wearing black Pleather pants, stilletto heels... and a scarf.

"Holding the Light" by Darek Banasek was shot in 1997 in Venice, CA in Sharine's teeny tiny guest house. A lamp post which held a bare bulb was Photoshopped out to reveal her belly button, and wings added for "Midnight Butterfly" calendar. Hues added later.
